Ok, so you've spent some money getting a new website and you're waiting for all those lovely new clients to call you having found your website. Only, nobody's found it! Why?
It's a common problem, and there's a simple answer. You need some SEO!
What the heck is SEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation, or spelt the american way, Search Engine Optimization. I'll put that in capitals so you remember it - as it's very important to the future of your website, and more importantly - your business.
Many people only find out about this the hard way - after they've had their website designed, and it's not got the results they were hoping for. Ideally, SEO should be incorporated in the website in the design stage. It's a lot easier to integrate and can influence the structure of the website. But if you've already had your website done - don't worry - SEO can still do the trick.
If you are new to search engine optimisation, then these terms won't mean much to you. SEO services, SEO company, internet marketing SEO, SEO web design, but they all mean the same thing.
You can also buy search engine submission software, or software that claims to do all the SEO stuff automatically for you. You're welcome to try it! But will it work? Thousands of people around the world using the same software. If you do want to try it, here's a link to one of the better ones - visit website. But I'm not recommending any of them - it's your choice. If your website is niche and you don't have much competition, then website submission software might work, but it probably won't.
For serious website marketing, you really need an expert who specialises in SEO. These guys are experienced and know what will work and what won't. If you are reading this page, it's probably because you were searching on the internet for something to do with search engine optimization. The very fact that you found this page through a search engine is proof that SEO does actually work!
When considering an SEO company or agency, ask for proof of previous work. Don't just take their word for it. Contact the website they claim to have worked on and ask them who was responsible for their SEO. Some less than honorable SEO agencies will claim credit for websites they aren't responsible for!
The best people we've seen around Sosua are these guys at Website Marketing - Search Engine Optimization in Sosua Dominican Republic. They've worked for a lot of big companies on many different types of projects, and they've recently arrived in the Dominican Republic. And yes they speak pretty good English, as you would expect coming from the UK originally!
So give them a call - and let them know I recommended them!
